one more lucky thing
fifteen years ago when she first came to this town
to live non stop
she bought two scarves from a "fiber artist"
they are scarves from the Dharma Catalog
one of them is silk and one of them is silk chiffon
each is painted in ways so lovely, so beautiful, so perfectly
local !
(meaning south western desert and south eastern Utah)
that when she wears them, sparingly, they elicit great bouts of admiration
unfortunately the artist who painted them has since left town
now Skaterina wears these scarves, often both together, to wrap up Dora
and hide her from casual view
some of the colors "go with" the color of Dora
you can guess which ones but we aint tellin'
and still
wherever she is wearing the scarf or scarves
she receives compliments and admiration
did i mention that the colors of each are in harmony
with the four little short sleeve cardigans ?
they are !
