DD is impressed with how the Second wife organizes "things"
since she denied the DNR he had established on his health directive
back in December
she discovers detailed paperwork called Advance Directives
for end of life issues
you can download them, she says to DD
there is a link to Conversations also
with starter kits
so family can get together and discuss their values

Skaterina tells DD that she did an Advanced Directive
when she did her will

Skaterina sighs and gets out her will
the Advanced Directive, sure enough, is in there, all filled out
she tells DD i meant to say the AD is in the Same Envelope
as the will not exactly in the will document itself
i will separate them
the AD will be available before i die

so the Second Wife also has put her husband's directives
on the refrigerator so if 911 is called they can check a digital
data base
he has a bracelet to wear
no doubt a whistle to blow

is making up for it

this all comes up due to the fractious nature of DD's relationship with the GS
DD thinks if she wants to obey the directive (assuming it is a DNR)
the GS will want to keep old granny alive forever at any cost
which cd be considerable
you know, like sell the property time to pay for it all
Skaterina sees she can appoint someone else to be the agent instead of DD
she ponders everyone she knows in town
she realliy hasnt any friends here
acquaintances
some are dear to her
when she gets right down to it
all she can think of is Mrs Geezer at the meat shop
and Mayor Dave who called her one of his favorite people
she buys her Black Magic at his store and is on the queue for his chickens
eggs
can you think of better credibility ?
Mrs G and Mayor Dave will no doubt adhere to the directives whatever
they are as we cant remember
DD and the GS will up against the big time of the town
she and the DD confer over bowls of breakfast cereal
Skaterina tells DD she is anticipating problems that may never occur
most of the morbid fantasies she summons up do not happen at all
DD agrees
the eat their cereals
go to the market for
coconut milk and cat food
easy does it
