she cd grow out her hair

no need to please the husband

who thought long hair made it look like she had no neck

yeah, no kidding

it should be duly noted that she had already frizzed her hair

had a head full of ringlets just like her daughter

the frizz was due to hanging out with a pretty German actress

who had been in a film with the husband when she had a cute

pixie cut

now "G" had done LSD and frizzed her hair, acquired a wardrobe

that Skaterina envied to the max AND was shacking up with the

same French director (famous) as Candace Bergen

yeah, no kidding

so Skaterina already had tackled the hair problem

she cd also Gain Weight

no need to be skinny no more

yay

she could eat what she wanted and so she did

after growing her hair out and making it blonder

she dyed it Raggedy Ann red with henna

that was fun

she also got over the whole menopause thing

the "Pause that Rrefreshes"  she called it

she was off and running

she also had an acid trip

now since the husband had done acid when it was still legal

and since he considered Skaterina to be a schizophrenic

he had warned her to Never Never Never do acid as it wd

Make Her Crazy !

crazier than she already was !

so, of course, she prepared for the Psychedelic Experience

by reading Timothy Leary and the Tibetan Book of the Dead

plus getting in shape through fasting

no acid in the punch bowl for her

it would be an experience of spiritual significance

she would travel the tibetan bardos and become one with the

WHITE LIGHT

she did !

wearing her grandmother's handmade lace dress

(the Irish lace crochetted by her grandmother) !!!

during the trip she drew a self portrait that is her favorite of all her self portraits

she did become curiously attracted to crochetting

she made lace and she uses them to add beads to knitting
