Miss Tickle

the first time she got up at midnight

to make a pot of espresso

for a lovely capuccino 

she felt like she was sneaking

out of the dorm

or that time at dawn when she snuck out

of home to meet her boyfriend at the

Tastee Diner for an early cuppa joe

giggle

now she has gone overboard

she has had so many secret midnight

capuccini that she no longer is an early riser

all that early rising to get to school or get the kid

to school or get the husband's breakfast or iron

a shirt or

Walk the dog !

all that Early Rising was to get that first cup of coffee !!

glugging it down in the night means

no she really doesnt feel like another cup

no sirree bob

at least she doesnt drink alcohol anymore

she over did it in her 20's with the Jackie Kennedy imitations

she was quite good / a mite shy of lampshade on head of course

later she went to an AA meeting and discovered how coffee was the replacement 

she gave up coffee for awhile in tribute

that was before they moved to Rome where 

she discovered Real Coffee

her fave then was down behind the Pantheon 

un cafe Sant' Eustachio

she wd walk all the way down to the Pantheon from Zona Coppede

with Tiberio, il barbincino (Italian poodle)

for a kilo to take home and una bicchiere (glass) por favore

foamy milk ontop with a sprinkle of cinnamon

oh coffee to die for

which might be true now as well
