turned out the marriage and the child werent so awful after all

the man she married wanted to be an actor and so he did

they went to Europe and lived in Rome

then they went everywhere !

well, almost

let's see

first they lived in New York City

went to Canada / Puerto Rico / Cozumel, Mexico / most of the islands in the Caribbean and er um / O / Bermuda where Skaterina crashed a motorbike into a wall

from Rome they ventured out to Spain, England, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Malta, Algeria, Tunisia, Brazil, Bermuda, Israel, Germany, plus lunch in Liechtenstein

bc in each of those countries they visited many different cities and ate many different foods and learned smatterings of many different languages

then for a really good overlook Skaterina and her daughter went back to America on a freighter

the voyage took two weeks during which time the moon was full

Skaterina saw the moon come up and the moon go down

she got it !  the moon stuff !  like the pictures in school books but now she got it

(later, on the mesa, the moon became her ally)
