On Being 80
Being 80 / not quite there yet / a few more days
we are thinking it over
Henry Miller wrote an essay when he became an 80 year old
the most memorable thing he wrote was If you have an ailment ignore it and it will go away
Skaterina thinks about that
she wonders What If ?
What if she had not discovered Pearlina due to the chance encounter with the CheeZit Crumb ?
would she have never known she had cancer and the subsequent opportunity to revise her life ?
hmmmm
after all is said and done she feels better, healthier, more alive, than ever before
all due to having some timorous tumors and deciding to embrace them
what a lucky girl she is
