The Invincible Red Sweater
finished in a rush Skaterina was able to wear the red sweater to the biopsy
the biopsy was ordered by the ear, nose, throat (ENT) specialist
an operating room was required and anesthesia due to the area of interest being down her throat
family members lacking medical expertise cdnt understand why an operating room was required / why cdnt the ENT just reach down to Pearlina which cd be touched with Skaterina's finger and nip a little off
er um
surely they jest
the biopsy took place in the town where there was "nowhere to eat or shop"
the first c and t scan took place in her home town where there is, after all, a very nice new hospital although lacking in some areas so one wd have to go to Colorado / often by helicopter if it were an emergency
by now Skaterina was wearing the red sweater every day / good thing it was winter
she promised herself she would wear it every day until she died even in the summer when she cd pop it on for a minute or two
eventually it came time to wash the red sweater
invincibility did not keep it from becoming a mite funky / you know with the cooking and all
the red yarn is a super wash from Turkey
into the washing machine she went the other day but lawsy me she came out full of holes
well, three holes
they look like bullet holes !
two are in the front so she was not running away in which they would be in the back
one is in the right arm
there was no blood so it was a clean kill
okay we are getting a little carried away here
KnitterMe plans to mend the holes with weaving
there is also the Truth Window

A truth window is an opening in a wall surface, created to reveal the layers or components within the wall. In a strawbale house, a truth window is often used to show the walls are actually made from straw bales. A small section of a wall is left unplastered on the interior, and a frame is used to create a window which shows only straw, which makes up the inside of the wall.

a gap occured in the seam when KnitterMe attached a sleeve to the body
it was a minor gap / it was deemed a Truth Window showing how the sweater was constructed
you mean like casually put together ?
Truth Windows and Dangling Ends are signatures of KnitterMe's weaving and knitting / they are her responses to the magic of the medium of yarn to be unique to her in the same way that certain characteristics are special to other cultures
