Uncle Buddy
Uncle Buddy is an old grey cat
he has one dead eye and one bum ear
he is about 15 years old
teeth need cleaning
his blood work is good enough for anesthesia
cat dentistry is expensive
Uncle Buddy was a feral cat in the neighborhood
where the grandson bought a house
then the girlfriend got two female kittens
and the old grey cat became Uncle Buddy
so all three cats came to live temporarily at Skaterina's
er um
some years ago
there were mice / within 3 days there were no more mice !
Skaterina rewards him with treats
bc he cant come inside / spare you the details
she decided to give him one good last summer
but when cold weather came she didnt have the heart
She bought him an A frame house that has a heat sensor pad
which heats up when the cat sits on it
she chose him to be her healing partner when she was diagnosed
with cancer and decided to heal herself
Uncle Buddy dines on daily wet food and high priced kibble
on a round table made by a carpentry artisan
he is nicely hefty but not too much and healthy
when she picks him up she calls him My Big Guy
he loves to be brushed
he follows her around the property
he is doing very well, thank you
the old 1965 Dodge was her healng partner the first time
she had cancer
the car cost a lot more than Buddy
but doesnt purr as gratefully / smile
