with the darling daughter attending the most liberal school in the world
Skaterina's liberal and progressive piriciples were to be sorely tested
when DD was about 14 Skaterina received a note from Mrs Neill (Oona)
requesting written permission for DD to be fitted with a contraceptive
device known as a Dutch cap
er um
being free means having sex ?
not just throwing eggs at the school ?
this issue needed pondering
Skaterina and the Actor were not at home
where friends could be consulted
they were in Israel, Eilat, down on the Red Sea
oh there was (name drop alert) Geraldine Chaplin
an american she cd chat with
there was a dishy French actress (name escapes)
who in turn was a name dropper of well known
French directors
Skaterina knew what a sexy French actress would say
Mais Oui ! but of course ! certamente
mamselle must have the device
Skaterina still stalled
until she got a phone call from Mrs Neill
all she had to say was
"consider the alternative"
oh ok sure but of course
