a member writes that there is a TV show featuring hoarders

they are featured as personality disorders in dire need of therapy and

plenty of self.righteousness

our member sees an episode in which the hoarder is a knitter!

with boxes and baskets and bags of yarns

plus dozens and dozens of knitting needles and crochet hooks

of all makes and sizes and styles

long straights dps circulars ?

yup

here on KnittersParadise all us knitters have boxes baskets bags of yarns

(often hidden from family members !)

plus as many different sizes of knitting needles and hooks to accomadate

the variety of yarn

this is called A Stash !

it is necessary and essential for a knitter with her needles to have an ongoing

collection of yarns

not to mention stacks of knitting books and printed out patterns from the 'tube

no kidding

but

get

this

the person who comes to clean up her hoard and turn her into a blithering idiot

is in fact, a blithering idiot herself

she leaves the knitter with only one pair of needles

this is cruel and unusual punishment

there was, of course, a great outcry in KnittersParadise

at least we dont hoard cats and dogs
