Skaterina is watching a movie called Social Media

a fancy bus drives up to Harvard

it is full of cute girls from a local girls' school

come to party with the college boys

Skaterina has a memory explosion

after she graduated from high school her mother insisted Skaterina go to business school

so she cd learn typing and shorthand

Skaterina had won a four year scholarship to a good university

her mother said Skaterina needed to learn how to type and take shorthand

a college education and a nickel will get you a cup of coffee. her mom said

imagine that / a cup of coffee was 5 cents !

but, mom said, Skaterina cd always get a job if she cd type and ...... etc

actually Skaterina liked business school / she met a lot of nice other girls

there were neat outings to local military installations

the girls were bussed to places like Fort Belvoir for example where

handsome young men were learning to be military leaders

inc case there was world war three

the handsome young men were uniformally good looking (that's a pun)

(pun based on a time when women loved a man in a uniform)

Skaterina loved those outings / they were fun and giddy

she always wore a red dress

if you want to have a good time, she knew, wear red

Skaterina was asked to dance a lot

she knew it was the red dress

young men cut in a lot too

she knew it was the red dress
